What should I expect from my first treatment?
Your first treatment will include a thourough review of your main complaint, any secondary complaints, and your medical history. We will discuss a treament plan together that is unique to you to address your personal treatment goals. Treatment may include therapies such as traditional acupuncture and bodywork such as cupping or gua sha. Other adjunct therapies may be used such as electrical stimulation. Please wear comfortable or loose-fitted clothing!
Do you take insurance?
We currently do not accept insurance. Cash, check, and credit cards are acceptable forms of payment. We accept HSA and FSA cards, and can always provide an itemized bill or superbill for you. The services and prices are listed under the Services Page.
How many sessions will I need before I see results?
This is a case by case estimate and a topic we will be transparent about at each visit. Most patients are able to see results immediately after treatment. However, acupuncture has a cumulative effect and sometimes it may take more than one treatment to see the desired results. It is generally recommended that a patient comes weekly for 4-6 weeks to start, then we will reevaluate your condition.
